Named after the famous architect, Nicholas Hawksmoor, this room has an ensuite bathroom and its very own courtyard.
Located in the oldest part of the hotel, on the Vicarage side of the building, this luxurious room was named after the famous English architect, Nicholas Hawksmoor.
Our spacious Nicholas Hawksmoor has an invigorating walk-in shower and English handcrafted queen-size bed; with fine premier cotton sheets and light fluffy pillows.
After a busy day exploring, retreat to the suite’s private city garden for a glass of champagne, the perfect setting to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of Oxford.

A leading figure of the English Baroque style of architecture in the late-seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries, Hawksmoor also mentored and worked alongside our namesake Sir John Vanbrugh.
During his lifetime, he contributed to the design of some of the most notable buildings of the period, including St Paul’s Cathedral, Wren’s City of London churches, Castle Howard and Blenheim Palace.
